Community Involvement
At Cairdeas Winery, we are proud to support both our local and industry communities through donations, sponsorships, philanthropic partnerships, and participation in nonprofit events.
We are particularly excited to highlight two of our key fundraising initiatives each year: our Women in Wine Duo, which benefits the Alliance of Women in Washington Wine’s Scholarship Fund (March), and our Annual Holiday Collection in support of Manger Mall Chelan Valley (November-December). Through these efforts, we strive to give back and make a positive impact in our industry and community.
The Alliance of women in washington wine
The Alliance of Women in Washington Wine is dedicated to championing and empowering women across all facets of Washington State’s vibrant wine industry. Our mission is to foster a supportive community that promotes gender equality, diversity, and inclusion, while advancing the professional development and leadership opportunities for women in wine. Through advocacy, education, and collaboration, we strive to cultivate a more inclusive and equitable wine industry, where every woman has the opportunity to thrive and make meaningful contributions.
Cairdeas Winery supports the Alliance of Women in Washington Wine’s scholarship fund through an annual fundraiser each March. Look for our Women in Wine duos and trios during Women’s History Month.
Manger Mall Chelan Valley
Manger Mall, a program of Chelan Valley Hope, shares the mission of helping people easily access essential resources, and together we can leverage our assets to multiply our reach. Manger Mall’s specific mission is to brighten the holidays for kids and families right here in the Lake Chelan Valley.
To support this, parents of registered children receive a Lake Chelan Chamber Bucks Gift Certificate, which can be redeemed at any Chamber member store or business, allowing them to choose the perfect gift for their child. Cairdeas Winery supports the cause by donating a portion of proceeds for each Annual Holiday Collection sold during November and December each year.
Donation Requests
At Cairdeas Winery, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back – it’s the “goodwill” of the Irish Gaelic meaning of Cairdeas. Supporting local causes is at the heart of what we do, and we’re proud to contribute to programs that uplift our youth, promote education, and support industry organizations that help elevate our shared craft. We also value the organizations our wine club members are passionate about.
To ensure we can best support your cause, we kindly request at least 30 days’ notice for donation requests. Our typical donation is a Curated & Cured Tasting Certificate (up to 4 tasting flights paired with charcuterie), which we hope will help further your mission.
