The Wine
Blackberry and currant with lingering thyme and warm spices. Consonance is a musical term for a group of notes coming together to make a harmonious sound.  This wine is a blend of 5 varietals coming together to make a harmonious wine.

The Vineyard
38% Syrah – Dineen Vineyard – Rattlesnake Hills
38% Petite Sirah – Inland Desert – Yakima Valley
10% Mourvèdre – Meek Vineyard – Yakima Valley
9% Grenache Noir – Meek Vineyard – Yakima Valley
5% Roussanne – Lawrence Vineyard – Frenchman Hills

The Winemaking
Syrah was co-fermented with whole clusters of Roussanne and aged in 50% brand new French oak puncheons. Petite Sirah was fermented 50% whole cluster and aged in 50% brand new French oak puncheons. The Mourvèdre and Grenache Noir were whole berry and aged in neutral French barrels.
