Our series continues as we focus on our Concrete Collection of wines, a four pack of wines that have either been fermented or aged in one of our two 17HL concrete egg-shaped vessels.
The Concrete Collection includes:
1 – 2019 Grenache Blanc
1 – 2019 (yet-to-officially-be-released) Marsanne
2 – 2018 Concrete Syrah
Schedule as follows:
- Thursday, May 21st: We’re joined by Chris Stone of Pearl & Stone Winery to talk Grenache Blanc, and two different winemaking styles. Chef Aaron Tekulve of Surrell also joins us to talk about the new Washington Wine + Food Cookbook and Grenache Blanc food pairings.
- Thursday, May 28th: Dick & Luanne Boushey of Boushey Vineyards and Mari Damsel of Damsel Cellars join us to talk about growing and making Marsanne.
- Thursday, June 4th: We welcome Josh & Lisa Lawrence of Lawrence Vineyards and Gard Vintners as we take a deeper dive into our 2018 Concrete Syrah.
We are donating 15% of all sales of the Concrete Collection to Off Their Plate, an organization dedicated to keeping the restaurant industry going while supplying meals to frontline healthcare workers, a cause that our “resident chef” Aaron Tekulve of Surrell, has focused his restaurant towards.
